As Director of Telecom Development for the Royal Bank of Canada, Eric Latalladi is an experienced business executive with more than 16 years of experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Throughout his career, Latalladi has held a number of leadership positions in the areas of technology and business development. Presently, his responsibilities include presiding over global telecommunications engineering.
After founding and leading several Internet startups in the late ‘90s, Eric Latalladi began his tenure with J.B. Hanauer & Co., a New Jersey-based broker/dealer, as a Senior Applications Developer. He subsequently became Chief Technology Officer and eventually Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He was responsible for overseeing the company’s information technology department and strategic initiatives. By 2008, Latalladi had joined the Royal Bank of Canada as Head of U.S. Infrastructure Integration, a position he held until assuming his current role as Director of Telecom Development.
Along with his professional pursuits, Eric Latalladi has been involved with nonprofit business associations such as the Wall Street Technology Association. In 2006, Latalladi served as Director of the Board, as well as Chairman of the Advisory Committee. He oversaw matters such as content generation for the association’s newsletter, seminars, and conferences. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business, Eric Latalladi holds a Master of Business Administration.
An advocate of charitable causes, he supports various nonprofit organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the World Wildlife Fund, and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
